Pretty Normal Day

Not much excitement these few days though...
Except the tsunami warning few days ago... and makes us close shop early

The news:
California Earthquake & Tsunami

That night Ed came in and told me we will close the arcade early...
woohoo.. half an hour before my shift ended...
the Casino Arcade supervisor also came in and ask how's our redemption counter doing...
he said he contacted the managers, the director and those big shots for Boardwalk
the end... the annoucement kept going on and on and on... non stop...
asking ppl to go out from the Casino building... oh well...

for the past few days I've been feeling the floor a bit shaky...
don't know whether I’m working near the Double Shot cause the shake or what...
the floor IS shaking...
nobody believes me when I said that...
they think I’m nuts or wateva...

pretty boring these few days...
I’m moving house next week I guess...
moving to another bigger house and more space... ^_^
then can party? err... we'll see how... oh well...

there are more Irish ppl I meet everyday at work each day...
it's like never stop meeting new Irish ppl...
heard that they are two gang of them...
party animals vs nerdy animals...
err... not sure how to describe the second type...
wait till I meet them then I blog more about them...
those I met are party animals... though I have yet to join one...

few days ago there was a party at next door ... so called the 'Singaporean Girls' party...
wateva... I’m not part of that... was not invited... oh well..
I’m not angry about that... just that felt a bit off about it...
online at home and downloaded Mr. & Mrs Smith...
cool show... but the ending a bit sian...
disappointed to watch that show...
not as what I expected to be...
watched Madagascar too...
cute~~

went to Saturn Cafe yesterday...
cool place...
but the situation a bit sian...
had a bottle of Corona... as usual if there's no teh-o-peng... ^_^
Very tempted to buy half a dozen of it at the super mart...
USD5.99 only... 6 bottles... promotion!!
Hmm... still thinking ...
Don’t worry ppl... I’ll only drink at home k....
I’m at the legal age to drink in US... whahah...
That means I’m OLD!! *gosh*

A lot of my co-workers said I’m around 18-20 ... oh well...
I love here... the place where I can feel young... *fly* *fly* *fly*

There are more strange things here...
When I walk on the road, there will have ppl bump to me and said things like:
"Hey, you are cute... can I have your number?"
"Where do you live? You have bf?"
"You are a very beautiful lady. May god bless you"
"If I pay and play the game and then I win, you go out with me."
Now I agree why ppl say Santa Cruz is a weird place...
ah boy… cute guys… uncle … even amah also said like that…
oh well… I think I might like that coz of that… hee….

Bought a lot of junks again yesterday…
Won’t be stocking up till July I guess… once a month for junks…
And every week I eat strawberries till I want to puke…
Might make some strawberry cheesecake later…
Already got the recipe from Janice… muahah… miss her peach cheesecake….
Hope won’t screw up the cheesecake like my first muffin here…
The first time muffin I made few days ago was real sucks…

Yesterday tried again… pretty nice though… =P

There were whole bunch of Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese came to boardwalk…
Bump into them after work yesterday and asked me about where is Downtown…
How the hell am I suppose to direct them using the right road while they have no idea where they are now…
And there’s one stupid question they asked me…
“You know where can I find pretty Asian girls at the beach?”
AT 7PM??
While the night is here… though it was still very hot and bright…
While the wind was so strong and no one was at the beach…
While you can see everybody was packing up and going home…
While you really hardly see a bunch of Asian girls going to the beach…
I’m like… what?
*isn’t one was talking to you?* - this is what my housemate said…
Oh well…

Santa Cruz is really a weird town… all sorts of weird ppl surrounds you everyday
All sorts of funny questions you’ll hear everyday…haha…

The department I work with… Games Operation Dept
There’s this notice came out yesterday … and whoever fulfill the star fish requirement…
He’ll get an award for that…
Hey, my name was at the Walk of Fame on my second day of work…
I wonder who was the mystery shopper who came to my booth on that day…
But too bad that time no star fish awarded yet… just the walk of fame
Hmm… pretty exciting huh?
The mystery shopper might just like those ang mo and neglect us… the Asians…
Been very moody during work and easily pissed by the customers…
Must smile? Must be friendly?
That’s all I do all the time during work time… dohz…
Have no idea who is that mystery person who evaluates all of us…
When I walked into work yesterday and saw Susan was motivating the whole bunch of them at the lounge…
I walk in without saying any hi or whatever…
I don’t like that old lady though…. She’s one of the supervisors I suppose…
She always likes to psycho people and makes us feel REALLY motivated…
Arrr…
Makes me think of the “RH JCRC Empire” 3 years back in NUS…
Feel very sian with all these “motivation classes” …
Wateva… my life in NUS is ended… I’m graduated!! ^_^
I don’t mind to get the StarFish award if time is right… hehe
