Big Sur - Trekking!! Hills!! Mountains!! Beach!!

This post suppose to come two days ago ... haha... but was super tired after the trip on Monday and *fainted =P* on my bed with wet hair and towel... haa...
Big Sur was fun ... thanks to the food service director... Everad!! ^_^

There were me, sara, evelyn, gill, relax, serene, rachel and everad... one black, one mexican and 6 singapore sheeps....

we drove from Santa Cruz passed Carmel, Monterey...
reached at a trekking place before Big Sur... Point Lobos...

very nice place to take lotsa photos...
lotsa new stuff to see... i love mother nature!!! ^_^
spent about an hour at Point Lobos, then drove to Big Sur..

and OMG!!
the scenery so damn nice!!
and yes... we are on highway 1 of California....
hills, mountains, valleys, ocean, beaches,... all can see...

the place i wanted to see since i first step into the States...

stopped at the highway to take photos...
the feeling is just so good...
standing at the cliff and looking down to the ocean...
put ur hands up and you'll touch the sky...
look further you might see Japan... *kidding*
it's the Pacific Ocean...
with lotsa mountains just in front of you...

next stop was Pfeiffer State Park...
went trekking again...

this one takes longer than the Point Lobos...
walked for about 1 1/2 hours for the whole round trip...
phew~
sweat and it's hot up there!!
my both knees hurts a lot when coming down...
left knee was injured during bowling...
right knee was injured coz the left knee injured... *peer pressure* =P
ouch!
saw a half burn big tree and still standing still there for hundred years... amazing...
there was a small waterfall on the way to the top...
wah lao! the waterfall super small ... guess it's xxs size waterfall.... *no comments* tsk tsk tsk
reached the top ... only see mountains and part of the highway at the bottom... haa... but the feeling was good...

next, Pfeiffer State Park Beach

the most unique beach i've ever seen so far... it's covered by a big rock and it's a lagoon area over there...
the water pretty clear though...
and the wave was good!!
lotsa surfers having fun there ...
spent our time picnic there and eat all the food... delicious... yum... courtesy of Everad... haa... thanks again *winkz*
sad... my battery low at that time and darn! i could have taken a lot more photos...
sigh...
saw purple sand on the beach... the purple thingie is all from the flower around ... cool...

we packed up and head down to Monterey for shopping..
oh yeah! bump into their farmers market... cool... lotsa stuff to see and buy... quite cheap though...
at least it's bigger than Santa Cruz one...haa...
bough myself two sea shells for 1 bux
nothing much to see after 8pm...
then next stop is Capitola Pizza My Heart...
haha... so it's by the beach huh... the place quite cool ...
and freezing...
eating pizza by the beach at night... and laughed non stop...
Capitola Beach... hmm... wonder how it looks like in the morning...
it's too dark to see that night... haa

reached back Santa Cruz at around 11pm...
dragged my body back to the house.... bath and sleep with my towel...
basically that was the trip about...
and i miss Big Sur...
one day.... one day i'll go back there again... ^_^
