Career Review I

after one year one month in this current company, there's nothing much to complain about besides i found some chatterbox, gossip, complainer, delegator and credit grabber in the office... well it doesn't affect me a lot coz i don't mix with those people... however, they are just annoying as the name describes... some are even worse to have up to 5 kinds of the above mentioned behavior... what are they thinking exactly at the first place of being a chatterbox to divert your concentration while discussing (can you shut up and i want to get the discussion short and sweet), then gossip about whatever policy of the company, country and then even neighbouring countries (oh does that concern you a lot? it doesn't concern me), then complaining about all the stuff under the sun (like everybody owing you meh? shut up!), then delegate all the job to all the other colleagues as if you are the CEO (you think ppl are blind that thinking you are doing work at all?), then finally grab all the credit from other people's done stuff and claim it yours (you can't even explain the gist out of it, ppl can see lor) ... worst kind of colleagues man...
well, the story above is just some personal thoughts, felt it if you do...

from scratch then till now developing the application... it's a fun job overall... found out that there's quite a lot of interesting job in this area... it's kind of sad to think about leaving this project if it ever need to... i've gotten what i need to learn at the first 8 months... it was not easy but it's the experience counts... i've realized the changed in my thinking and things will get smoother soon... currently in build phase and boss just reminded me of something with a question "i don't know why they put you in build team"... then i was like... stunt for 0.5 miliseconds... then i replied "i requested for it"... well, i've been wanting to go build team coz i'll know what i'll be doing... second reason, i do not want to be park under some people i don't like to work with at the other team.... third, still can sit back and watch those newbies handle the application design requirements... well, i can say it's pretty much satisfying up till this point... i think i should request to get a more two sided role on both build and test... that has been the ideal plan for me... :D perhaps after this round performance review i shall request to start working for the system integration test plan... should be a good start then...

on the other side, some other colleague has been constantly asking me if i want to join their team... am i really that wanted even i don't have experience in those thing they asked me to do? i'm overwhelm... very overwhelming requests from all the parties... hmm... i should rethink and ask for the stuff i want indeed... *winkz* *winkz*... i shall be in hunting mode again in the office... :D

just finish my "5KM" jog this week at sentosa beach... cooling weather... nice..
